Relais International invites all customers to attend a workshop on May 21 from 9am to 12 noon at the University of British Columbia.

Bring your questions or even better post them here or to the rug list (rug@relais-intl.com) in advance. This will be an opportunity to learn more about using Relais products from Relais International staff and from your colleagues. A question for the Relais workshop on May 21 in Vancouver

We would like to be able to use Query Request to search by Supplier Code for a filled request. At present if only returns active requests. It seems at the moment, the only way to get this information is via Crystal Reports. Will it be possible in the future to get this info via Query Request within Relais?

Workshop Question
Logging into Request Requesting currently defaults to having the Library Registration radio button selected. Can we change this to Monitor Queues? This is an application that is used daily and having it as the default would allow us to hit enter after typing the password instead of having to select Monitor Queues and then clicking OK.

Workshop Question
Re: exporting Relais ILL Hosted statistical reports to Excel.
We are currently using Excel 2003. Will the reports still be compatible when our institution upgrades to Microsoft Office 2007 in September 2008?

Workshop Question
Re: Troublesome supplier code
The code PERIODICAL CO x appears when a search is done for a title that we hold in our print periodicals collection. It shows up as both an internal and external supplier when we pull down reports such as "Lending Staistics by External Supplier Code" and "Lending Statistics by Internal Supplier Code," so we have to adjust our statistical counts to avoid counting the same requests twice. We cannot find this code in Library Registration. It must be connected with our catalogue, since it comes up when we have a successful hit the same way that ACMR does.

When I try to "Reopen request" a message says that this function is not configured. Is this something we can configure ourselves (if so, how?) or does Relais support need to do it for us?
